Why everything in the body is connected – the holistic approach
You’ll often hear me say during treatments: “everything in your body is connected.” And it’s not just a nice idea – it’s something I see every day. When even one tiny cell isn’t working properly, that imbalance can ripple through your whole system.
Chronic pain: why one session or one technique isn’t enough
Quite often, people walk into my clinic hoping their pain will vanish after one session. I always tell them – I wish it worked that way! But when pain has been hanging around for months or even years, it’s never just one layer we’re dealing with. And that means we need to work through those layers, step by step.
The power of fascia – why this connective tissue matters so much
During treatments, you’ll often hear me say: “I’m working on your fascia now.” And usually the first question is: “What’s fascia?” The simplest way to explain it is this: fascia is a thin but strong layer of connective tissue that wraps through your entire body – around muscles, organs, and even just under the skin. Think of it as an internal web that ties everything together.
Balancing your nervous system
I often tell my clients: you can’t treat the body without also looking after the nervous system. We can free up fascia, mobilise joints, or strengthen muscles – but if your nervous system is stuck in stress mode, your body will keep slipping back into old patterns. That’s why stress management is such an important part of every therapy.
